Frances Lunsford

Frances Lunsford, age 92, of Maumee died Monday, November 27, 2017 at Ridgewood Manor. She was born in Illinois on October 1, 1925. During her senior year of high school, she met Jack T. Lunsford. Just prior to his deployment, they married on April 15, 1944 and together they raised two children. Frances enjoyed helping people in the area acquire their GED. She was a member of the Ottawa River Yacht Club, loved animals, attending church and simply just spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Rozalind (David) Coburn and David (Sue) Lunsford; grandchildren, Jacquelynn, Kimberly and Richard Coburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; mother, Clara as well as her sisters. Friends will be received on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Neville-Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy may do so in Frances’ name to the Ronald McDonald House.
