Frances Ann Knab

Frances Ann Knab, age 77, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erie, Michigan on January 3, 1934 to Daniel and Frances Laginess Keefe. Fran enjoyed bowling, Bingo and cards. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Point Place. Fran was a selfless, sincere, elegant lady who was optimistic, kind and soft-spoken. Her family was most important to her and her girls were her life! Fran is survived by her husband, Edward; daughters, Janice Knab, Barbara Chris Knab-Sager, Eileen Tim Knab, and Rita Knab; grandchildren, Cindy Chris, Frankie Barb, Keith Amy and Jessica Ben; ten great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and brothers, Ralph and Marty Keefe. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Friends and family may visit at the Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd. on Sunday from 2 to 8 PM with the rosary recited at 7:30 PM. Prayers will begin at the funeral home on Monday at 9 AM followed by Mass at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist, 5153 Summit St. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
