Frances M. Hundt

Frances M. Hundt, 105, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Orchard Villa in Oregon. She was born on September 28, 1908 in Toledo to Steven and Mary (Szymkowak) Ratajski and on April 28, 1956 married Rudy Hundt. Frances was a long time member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Walbridge. She was an avid bowler and was one of the founders of the Toledo Blade Queens bowling league. Frances enjoyed poker and other card games, gambling and her yearly trips to Las Vegas. Frances is survived by her loving daughter, Beverly Ann (Gene) Summers, grandchildren, Sheri (Richard) Cantu and Scott (Elizabeth) Summers, great grandchildren, Courtney (Chad) Wagner and Brighton Summers, and great-great granddaughter, Piper Wagner. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and many siblings. Friends will be received from on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, OH. 43465 (419-666-3121) where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 9:30 AM with a funeral mass to follow at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, 300 Warner St., Walbridge, OH at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
