Frances Hemple

Frances Hemple, age 93, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. Frances was an Alumnus of Maumee High School, where she was part of the marching band as a member of the color guard. Frances was employed by Dean & Barry Paint company, as a store manager for over 30 years, before her retirement. Her retirement didn’t last long though, she made sure to always be up, active, and working! Frances was also a member of the Mother of Twins club and in her earlier years, she was an avid bowler. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and keeping up with her yard work. She was known to maintain a pristine yard and landscaping. If you knew Frances, you also knew she enjoyed sipping on her Crown Royal (on the rocks!). She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Frances Keller Hemple, was born on April 18, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, and was the daughter of Meredith and Genevieve (White) Keller. Both parents precede her in death.

Left to cherish her memories include her two daughters, Denise Neiding, and Debbie (Jim) Prater; grandchildren, Dana Hainzer, Aaron Cupp, Raechel (Khalid) Mastin, Jamie (Chris) Prater, Jenna (Drew) Prater, Tara (Matthew) McCallister, Dustin (Michelle) Wilkins, Dana (Terry) Swiderski, Dawn (Johan) Armstrong, and Jeff Neiding; great-grandchildren, Austin, James, Emily, Brittany, K.J., Taj, Kennady, Liam, Paizley, Matthew, Chloe, Benjamin, Kayla, Benjamyn, Zachary, Sophia, Landon, and Reagan; Great-great-grandchildren, Ailani, Zy’aire, Aria, and one more on the way, Callie Ann, Rody and Fynnegan. Sister in heart Shirley Pawlinski and Special friend/ daughter in heart Stephanie Lanham. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Meredith, and Genevieve; her husband, James “Jim” Hemple; two daughters, Dawn Moring and Darlene Razook; and two brothers, Charles and Eldon Keller and granddaughter Kelli Desilvis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 10:00-11:00AM at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, in Maumee, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, also at the funeral home. Graveside Services will take place at Toledo Memorial Park, following the service.
