Frances H. Cunningham

Frances H. (Hunt) Cunningham, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 12, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Frank and Julia (Rose) Hunt.

Frances was a 1958 graduate of Waite High School. After high school, she enjoyed working as a waitress before dedicating herself to her family, whom she loved dearly.

Frances loved to tell stories and could always bring a smile to those around her. She was kind, caring, and an exceptional cook, especially when it came to preparing holiday meals. She loved decorating for any occasion and was truly the queen of knickknacks. In her earlier years, Frances enjoyed drawing and making arts and crafts.

Her family was truly everything to her, and they will always cherish her stubborn, yet loving personality, as well as the many memories she created with them.

Frances is survived by her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; her sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Tammy Jo, Skip (Harry), Beverly, Benjamin, Helen, and Betty; her sister, Opal; and two of her grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Fran's honor to Kind Hearts Hospice.

The family will receive friends at Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, Frances will be laid to rest at North Oregon Cemetery.
