Forrest "Mitch" Harpest

Forrest M. “Mitch” Harpest, 67, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Bay Park Hospital. He was born on December 16, 1953 in Lima, OH to Gene and Loretta (Stalnaker) Harpest. Mitch married Janet E. Hageman on September 24, 1988. Mitch had a passion for motorcycles. He attended the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio for many years, and he tackled the Trail of Dragon in Tennessee. Mitch enjoyed going to the Wauseon National as well as hunting and camping. He also loved attending Daytona Bike Week with his twin brother, Mike. Mitch is survived by his wife, Janet E. Harpest; mother, Loretta (John) Carter; sister, Andrea (Tim) Kuehl; and stepbrothers, Vince and Steve Harpest. He is preceded in death by his father, Gene; twin brother, Farron “Mike” and his beloved dog, Hazel. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Witlzer-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH 43551 (419-874-3133).
