Florene Hicks

FLORENE HICKS Florene Hicks, age 74, passed away on March 1, 2014 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Florene was born in Hippo, Kentucky on May 10, 1939 to Ruben & Artie May (Allen) Hicks. She worked as a clerk for K-Mart for over 16 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her daughter, Johnni Brewer; grandchildren, Brandi Lynn; John Joseph & Jeffrey Lee Phillips; Jordan Nelson & Kayla Nichole Bickar; great grandchildren, Gabrielle Nichole, Austin Michael & Brianna Lynn Packman; Brent Joseph Perry; Jonathon Michael & JoJo Christopher Phillips; Jessica, Sierra & Emily Hixson. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters as well as her parents, Ruben & Artie May. Friends will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-8 pm Wednesday March 12, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 13, 2014 at the Western Ave. Community Center, 1401 Broadway, Toledo where the family will receive friends from 10 am until start of service at 11 am.
