Florence Ellen Pohlman

Florence Ellen Pohlman, aged 92, graduated this life on January 18, 2016. She was born April 6, 1923, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Vernon and Beulah (Spafford) King. Florence thoroughly enjoyed gardening, her grand-children and great-grand-children, Lawrence Welk, baking, chocolate candy, crossword puzzles, and traveling. She was an active member of Faith Community United Church of Christ. On June 28, 1947, Florence married the love of her life and partner in crime, Jack Oliver Pohlman, together they raised 3 children. In addition to raising their three children she was also very active in her grand-children and great-grand children's lives. Florence is survived by her loving children, Alan 'Pete' Pohlman, Susan 'Sue' Pohlman, Mark (Michelle) Pohlman; Grand-Children, Stacy Tandler, Scott (Heidi) Tandler, Christina (Reuben) Juarez; and 11 Great-Grand Children and brother, James King. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Beulah King, and her beloved husband, Jack Pohlman. Friends will be received on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 10:30-11:30 A.M. in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879) where funeral services will begin at 11:30 A.M. Burial will be held in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Faith Community Church of Christ.
