Fernando Marquez, Sr.

Fernando Marquez, Sr. 47, of Toledo, Ohio died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of David C. and Delfina (Navarro) Marquez, on March 5, 1973. He married Rosanna (Duran) in Toledo on January 9, 2001. Fernando enjoyed remodeling and doing work for family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and made friends easily, wherever he went. Fishing, camping and spending time with his family were a priority for him. Fernando loved music and where there was music, he could be found playing the spoons! Fernando is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rosanna, children, Sara Marquez, Maricella (Antonio) Villarreal, Fernando D. Marquez, Anayssa (Larry) Bryan, Fernando Marquez, Jr., Anthony Fonseca, Estrella L. Marquez, Fernando (Selena) Marquez III, Augustine A. Marquez, 10 grandchildren and his siblings, Mary Espino, Crissy (Terry) Hennessy, David Marquez, Irene (Robert) Miller, Monica Perez and Tina Sanchez-Marquez. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Marcos Marquez. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 738 S. St. Clair St., Toledo, Ohio. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM, Monday, January 4, 2021 at Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio.
