Faye June Schwisow

Faye June Schwisow, age 93, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at NHC Nursing Home, in Bluffton, South Carolina. Faye was a Perrysburg High School graduate and went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University. In her spare time, Faye enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crocheting. Faye cherished spending time with her friends and family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her family reminisces on her delicious homemade donuts, red cake, and mashed potatoes.

Faye June Schwisow was born on June 23, 1929, the daughter of Orrell B. and Anna (Sargent) Spilker. She married Willard M. Schwisow, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2010.

Survivors include two children, Allen (Carol) Schwisow, and Kay (Richard) Krueger; grandchildren, Andrew (Emily) Schwisow, Jeffrey (Kirsten) Schwisow, and Jacob (Kasey) Krueger; one soon to be great-grandson, baby boy Schwisow. Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Willard; sisters, Lucille Lahman, Neva Snyder, and Violet Simpson; one brother, Robert Spilker.

Faye will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren. She always emphasized the importance of love for family, respect for others, integrity, patience, and serving others. They are thankful for her eternal peace in heaven with all the saints of God.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 12:00PM, with Pastor Doerfler officiating. Burial will follow at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery.
