Faye E. Kazmaier

Faye E. Kazmaier, 86, of Perrysburg, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg surrounded by her family. She was born on June 23, 1926 to Walter and Ethel (Carpenter) Phillips in Pemberville, Ohio. She married Franklin R. Kazmaier on June 29, 1947 in Perrysburg. Faye was a master chef and baker. She was known for her famous chocolate pies. She was also an accomplished seamstress. Faye is survived by her loving children, David F. (Susan) Kazmaier and Melinda S. Kazmaier; grandchildren, Jill (Mike) Halker and Nicholas (Maria) Kazmaier; great-grandchildren, Eli, Maddy, Mia and Oliver. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings, Glen Phillips and Alma Venis. Friends will be received on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio 419-874-3133. Burial will be held privately.
