Faye E. Fastzkie, 81, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, with her loving husband by her side.

Faye was born in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Norman and Orlena (Nahs) Harder. She married the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Fastzkie, on January 14, 1961, in Rocky Ridge, Ohio. Together they shared 65 years of love, faith, and cherished memories.

A devoted member of St. John Lutheran Church, Faye faithfully served as the church secretary over 30 years and was an active member of the Dorcas Circle. Her faith and dedication to her church family were an important part of her life.

Faye found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved reading mystery and romance novels, crocheting beautiful rugs and afghans, sewing clothes for her family, watching Outlander and Court TV, playing euchre, enjoying a glass of wine, dining at Earl's (Cousino's), traveling to Amish Country, and preparing her famous stuffing for family gatherings. Above all, Faye treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandson, who brought her endless happiness.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard "Dick" Fastzkie; son, Steven (Jan) Fastzkie; son-in-law, Mark Blakely; grandchildren, Nicole (Alex) Katsan, Julie (Chris) Shope, Ross (Sarah) Blakely, Shane Little, and Sutratip "Nook" Klomklom; great-grandson, McCauley White; along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Orlena Harder; her beloved daughter, Shelly; her brother, John Harder; and her sisters, Donna (Don) Genzman and Doris (Walter) Windisch.
