Fay Butcher

Fay R. “Butch’ Butcher, 79, of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away on May 23, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. He was born on June 27, 1934 to Carl W. and Lenora (Montgomery) Butcher. While serving his country in the United States Air Force, Butch met Antoinette L. Whitehead and on December 29, 1956 they were married in London, England. Together they raised four children. Butch enjoyed traveling and camping as well as golfing. He was also an avid fisherman. Butch is survived by his loving wife, Antoinette L. Butcher; daughters, Beverly J. Lucio and Stephanie S. (Ted) Lucio; daughter-in-law, Cathy Butcher; grandchildren, Shannon (Dave) Gunn, Josh (Tiffany) Lucio, Jessica (Jason) Altman, Derrick (Rachael) Butcher, Amanda Butcher and Chelsie Lucio; step grandson, Corey Notman; eleven great grandchildren and sister, Erma Morris. He is preceded in death by his parents and sons, Russell L. and Garry R. Butcher. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Sharples Cemetery, Harding Township. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Ebeid Hospice and the Alzheimer's Association.
