Everett J. Wells

Everett J. Wells, age 71, of Perrysburg, passed away on February 9, 2023, following an 18-month battle with cancer. Everett was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 3, 1951. He attended Le Tourneau University and Greensburg Institute of Technology. He worked as a field service technician for Avery Dennison for 43 years.

Everett liked camping and hiking with his family. He followed politics, enjoyed science fiction books and movies, and relaxed by playing computer games. Everett’s faith was important to him. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Perrysburg, serving on the counting committee. Everett was a quiet, deep thinker who was kind and gentle.

Everett is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen (Miller) Wells, and his three children David Wells, Eric Wells, and Elizabeth Passero; his sisters, Wilma Keefe, Emily Swan and Olive Wells. Everett was preceded in death by his parents, James and Olive (Montayne) Wells; brother-in-laws, Billy Keefe and Warren Swan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Perrysburg, 590 W. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Everett’s name to First Baptist Church of Perrysburg.
