Everett Lee Dupree, age 49, of Sylvania, passed away August 24, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by his loved ones. He was born November 14, 1966 in Toledo and graduated from Whiteford High School in 1984. Everett was a manager at Big Lots, serving more than 25 years with the company. A selfless man of God, he was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Prayer Tower and lived his faith in service to others. Everett coached his sons teams in both baseball and basketball and he often repaired vehicles for family and friends. He was an excellent listener, had a terrific sense of humor and was devoted to his family and friends. Everett was also an avid Michigan football fan. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Annie Mae (Henry) Dupree; beloved wife of 12 years, Kimberly Dupree; children, Tony, Josh, Jake and Alex Dupree, Taylor and Tyler Perry; brothers, Sylvester Jr., Booker T. (Pamela), Ernest, Warren, Anthony (Janelle), Scott (Tracie) and Christopher (Stephanie) Dupree; sisters, May Emma, Melzine and Zinnie Dupree, Limie Stanton (Glen) and Patricia Tucker (Benjamin); and a host of nieces and nephews. His father, Sylvester Dupree, Sr., preceded Everett in death. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). Services to celebrate Everetts home going will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford Drive, Toledo, OH 43615. Interment Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
