Evelyn M. Sorgenfrei

Evelyn M. Sorgenfrei, age 90, passed away Monday September 25, 2017 at Swan Creek Retirement Village. The daughter of Henry and Ida Pilz, she was born May 28, 1927 in Toledo. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School. Evelyn married Robert Sorgenfrei on June 11, 1949 and they enjoyed 68 years together. They loved to travel, visiting many countries in Europe, Canada and the Hawaiian Island, to mention a few. She enjoyed cooking, Ballroom Dancing and playing cards. She will be remembered as a great homemaker who took a lot of pride in caring for her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Bob sons, Richard (Elizabeth), James (Vicki), Donald (Diana) Sorgenfrei; grandchildren, Tamera, Rich, Melissa, Lindsay, Jennifer, Katherine, Duane, Erin; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Henrietta, Herbert and Carl. A memorial service will be held at a later date .
