Evelyn V. Radabaugh

Evelyn V. Radabaugh, age 94, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at her residence. Born December 24, 1913 in Amherst, Ohio to Charles Frank and Anna Catherine Brown Barck, Evelyn was a graduate of Hiram College where she received her Bachelors Degree in Education. She married Howard Radabaugh in June, 1939 and together they raised a loving family of six children. Evelyn returned to teaching in 1952 which she was passionate about and taught until her retirement in 1976. She was also very active in AAUW. She enjoyed needle point and loved to join her friends with the Air Stream Camping Club and the Good Sam Association. Evelyn is survived by her children, Raymond Charles Diane Radabaugh, William Howard Linda Radabaugh, Lynn Saranne Nasir Ali, Cathe Elizabeth Radabaugh, Karen Patricia Terry Hobbs and Theron Kim Rick Cordero; grandchildren, Mark Paula, Kristi Rob Smith, Scott Marlena, David Lari, Bryan Tracy, Steven Mia, Shaheen Beth Ali, Naeem Kellie Ali, Sameena Leigh Rencurrell, Jeffrey Bethany Hobbs, and Kevin Jennifer Hobbs and great-grandchildren, Bradley, Jacob, Nicholas, Evelyn, Julianne, Isabel, Abigail, Josh, Noah, Claire, Samuel, Nayef, Adam, Benjamin, Erin, Lucille, Natalie, Thomas, Glenn, Arthur, Marin and Ellie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, R. Howard Radabaugh and brothers, Walter and Alvin Barck. Friends and family may visit on Sunday from 3-7 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 pm. Interment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
