Evelyn Keefer

EVELYN KEEFER Evelyn Keefer, age 79, of Holland, Ohio died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. She was born September 25, 1932 to Calvin and Thalia (Barton) Hubbell and on October 13, 1951 she married Elwood Keefer. Evelyn was employed by Metal Forming and Coining for 21 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of AARP, was active with area senior citizens and enjoyed crafts and genealogy. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Elwood Keefer; sons, Dale (Kim) Keefer and Blaine (Cindy) Keefer; daughter, Ericka Keefer as well as 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3-9 p.m. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will follow on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will remain private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Association.
