EVELYN I. BROWN Evelyn I. Brown, 89, of Perrysburg, OH died, Wednesday. May 8, 2013 in the Manor at Perrysburg. She was born in Boulder, CO on July 11, 1923 to George and Lola (VanCleeve) Brown and was married in Wichita, KS on May 31, 1942 to Floyd Emil Brown who preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 2006. Evelyn, along with her husband Floyd, were active members of both Grace United Methodist Church and most currently at First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg. Evelyn was an avid volunteer for many church functions for many years. She was also a member of the B.P.O.E. She is survived by daughters, Carol Ann (Larry) Filson of Milan, MI, Linda (Bob) Kreider of Custer, SD and Marsha (Michael Fischer) Brown, of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Jeff (Terry) Kreider, Brian (Jennifer) Kreider, Chris (Laura) Strong, and Craig (Allyson) Strong; great-grandchildren, Dom Kreider, Lexi Kreider, Madelyn Strong, Brady Strong, and Hunter Perkins Strong; sister, Hazel Marie Rickards; close friend, Ruth Shaffer. Friends will be received after 1 P.M. on Monday, May 13, 2013 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg OH (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be at 2 P.M. with Pastor Terry Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
