Evelyn "Bernice" Durden-Saunders

Evelyn “Bernice” Durden-Saunders, age 81, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was born on May 24, 1940 in Alexandria, Virginia. Bernice had a love of children, crafting, cake making, and playing spades. She was a member of The Elks Lodge. Bernice was very loving and generous, always willing to help those that she cared for. Her big heart and quick wit will be missed. Bernice is survived by her daughter, Commillia Durden-Davis; grandsons, Travis Duren, Tyreese Davis; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Durden, Ta’mier Durden; as well as a host of other friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by Douglas Durden, Freeman Durden Sr.; loved ones, Jim Fifer, Brian Durden, Frank Durden; and special friends, Barbara Corggems and Markieta. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 12:00 until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford.
