Eve Sophie Pieplow

Eve S. Pieplow, 83, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away early Saturday morning, October 18, 2008 at H.B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. Eve was born on December 24, 1924, in Painesdale, MI to Charles and Sophie Ropponen. On February 15, 1946 in Port Clinton, OH she married Theodore Bus Pieplow and he preceded her on death in July 11, 1993. Survivors include: Son: Thomas Becky Pieplow of Athens, AL; Grandchildren: Sarah Pieplow of Auburn, AL, Jessica Matt Delaplane of Harvest, AL. Eve was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Armas and Ahti Ropponen. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00AM, Monday, October 20, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a Memorial service, conducted by Rev. James Lehman at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions in memory of Eve may be given to St. John Lutheran Church Radio Ministry.
