Eva Marie Walker

Eva Marie Walker, 80, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at her residence. Eva was born on December 17, 1927 in Lakeside-Marblehead, OH to Marco and Mary Soski. On May 2, 1946 in Lakeside, OH she married George F. Walker and he preceded her in death. Eva was a homemaker and also spent 12 years working for Standard Products in Port Clinton. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. Eva loved bingo, pogo on the computer, eating out at restaurants, supporting various charities and crocheting in her younger years. She especially loved her family very much. Survivors include: Son: Ronald Crystal Walker of Port Clinton, OH; Daughter: Sheryl Warnke of Port Clinton, OH; Grandchildren: Jennifer Meacham, George Spitler, Keith Spitler, Karl Walker, Johnathon Spitler; Great Grandchildren: Korinna Walker, Dillon Walker, Macey Meacham, Alec Meacham, Abby Spitler, Linus Walker, and Kira Walker. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson: Shawn Walker. Visitation will be held from 2-8 PM, with family present from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Friday, December 5, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father John Missler, Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH, with prayers offered at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions in memory of Eva may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Stein Hospice.
