Eva M Shope

EVA MARIE SHOPE Eva Marie Shope, age 75, of Walbridge, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in The Manor at Perrysburg. She was born on May 27, 1936 in Walbridge to John and Myrtle (Gibson) Noellert. Eva was a graduate of the first graduating class of Lake High School in 1954. She was a merchandiser for Ambassador Cards, she also worked for Riverside Hospital and retired as a postal carrier. Eva was a member of the Lake Township Firebelles. In her spare time Eva enjoyed ceramics, she also enjoyed making her yearly Christmas candy, but most of all she took great pride in spending time with all of her precious grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children, Paul (Karole) Shope, Clifford (Beth) Shope and Bridgette (Skip) Harris; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Leila (Connie) Rogers, John (Brenda) Noellert and Bill (Doris) Shope. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Cliff Shope. A memorial service honoring Eva will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 4:00 pm. in Mainstreet Church 705 N. Main St. Walbridge.
