Eugenia Genevieve White

WHITE EUGENIA GENEVIEVE Eugenia Genevieve White age 95 of Sylvania passed away Monday January 4, 2010. She was born January 11, 1914 in Montreal, Canada to Michael and Weronika Mandelski. Genevieve emigrated to the United States with her parents in 1920. She attended St. Adalbert Grade school and was graduated from Woodward High School. She became a US citizen in 1939 and married Wilbur W. White in 1942. Genevieve was always involved in retail sales and was employed for various stores in Toledo and St. Petersburg, Florida where they resided from 1963-1984. She was a devoted Catholic, gourmet cook and enjoyed gardening and sewing. Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur and is survived by her brother-in-law Vernon White and sister-in-law Norma White. She was a devoted and beloved aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Thursday after 9:30 AM where funeral services will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
