Eugene Gruszczynski Paulette

Eugene Gruszczynski Paulette, age 47, of Toledo, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 14, 2008 in his home. He was born in Toledo to Eugene and Janice Paszczykowski Gruszczynski on January 28, 1961. A 1979 graduate of Sylvania Northview, he attended RETTS College of Technology where he graduated with full honors in the field of Electronics and Robotics. Gene was a multi-skilled construction worker in Toledo and Atlanta, Georgia. A veteran of the Air Force, he loved and was an avid fan of the blues, the Detroit Tigers, and the Dallas Cowboys. Preceded in death by his step-father, Glen Paulette, Gene is survived by his mother, Janice Paulette; father, Eugene Gruszczynski; grandmother, Isabelle Paszczykowski; sisters, Patricia John Henning and Kristine Paulette Michaelsen and brother-in-law, Todd Michaelsen; brother, Glenn Lisa Paulette; uncles, James Sandy Paszczykowski, John Paszczykowski and Doug Sinclair; aunt, Mary Sinclair; all his nieces and nephews that he loved deeply and the many special friends he made during his life. Friends may call on the family at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Thursday from 3-9 PM where services will be held Friday at 1 PM. Interment will be private.
