EUGENE RAYMOND MAZUR Eugene Raymond Mazur, 91, died peacefully February 4, 2021 in his hometown of Rossford, Ohio. Eugene was born in Rossford on January 2, 1930. When he was a child his family moved to Poland. He returned to Rossford when he was 19. Eugene was proud of his Polish heritage and enjoyed gathering at the kitchen table to speak the language with his brother Ziggy. July 27, 1957 he married Rosemarie Meier. Together they had four children and celebrated 54 years of marriage. Eugene loved his family and they were his world. He worked at the Rossford L.O.F for 42 years. Most days he walked to work, retiring in 1990. In the summers Eugene was well-known for his beautiful backyard garden. He was blessed with a green thumb. Eugene served in the Korean War and was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association. He was also an active member of All Saints Catholic Church. His grateful family left to cherish his memory are sons, John (Tammy), Bill (Traci), Paul (Renee), and daughter Dianne (Chris) Dunavant; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His wife Rose, parents Stanley and Sophia Mazur and brothers, Zigmund and John proceeded him in death. Friends and family will be received at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd., Rossford on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
