Etta S. Moore

Etta S. Moore, 78, of Walbridge, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by her family. Etta was born on April 5, 1938, to Flain and Alpha (Bowling) Ratliff in Pikeville, Kentucky. She married her beloved husband, Gene Moore, on June 12, 1954 and he preceded her in death. She worked in the Dietary Department of St. Vincent Mercy Hospital for over 27 years. Etta is survived by her children, Larry (Diane) Moore, Judy G. Jackson, and Michael (Sandy) Moore; grandchildren, Jared (Leanna) Moore, Nicole (Paul) Smith, Thomas Jackson, and Tyler Diebel; six-great grandchildren; sister, Jetta L. Grant; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and sister, Georgia Dempsey. Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 1-9 PM. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121). Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park.
