Etta Mae Fout

In her home surrounded by her loving family, Etta Mae Fout, 73 of Maumee, Ohio went home to be with the Lord and to reunite with her loving husband, Edward on Thursday, April 24, 2008 after a long struggle with Heart Disease and Diabetes. She was born on December 14, 1934 to Elmer and Roena Cavin Yeary in Tazewell, Tennessee. Etta married Edward Allen Fout August 23, 1955, he preceded her in death September 2005. She retired as Assistant Deli Manager from Food Town in 2000. Etta was always there for anyone who needed an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. She was a kind, loving, caring and forgiving person. Etta possessed the type of unconditional love, understanding and patience that only God could provide. She was a wonderful cook, loved gardening and had a passion for growing and taking care of her flowers. Without a doubt, the thoughts and memories of such a blessed wife, mother, sister and friend will always be cherished and will never grow dim to those that loved her. Etta will live in our hearts forever. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father and mother; brother, Kenneth Wayne Yeary and sister, Helen Dolores Hubbard. Etta is survived by her daughter, Linda Dan Hephner of Petersburg, MI.; sons, Kenneth Fout of Maumee and Garry Laura Fout of Toledo; grandchildren, Todd Naomi Hephner, Jennifer Scott DesAutels, Ryan Jenelle Hephner, Eric Jessica Hephner, Shane Fout, Nathan Fout, and Charity Geiger; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kelsey and Hailey Hephner, Jaxon and Olivia DesAutels and Madalyn Hephner; brothers, Charles Kay Yeary, Joseph Nancy Yeary, Raymond Billie Yeary and Dennis Linda Yeary; sisters, Connie Marion Partin and Wanda Ed Gingerella. The family would like to express a special Thank You to all the Doctors and Nurses that cared for Etta at St. Lukes Hospital and to the caring staff from Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Your compassion and care has been much appreciated. Family and friends may visit Monday, April 28, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH where funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, OH.
