Esther M. Holman-Mock

Esther Mae Holman-Mock, 85, formerly of Toledo, OH and Ft. Myers, FL, passed away on September 1, 2007 at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Village, Pemberville, OH. Esther was the daughter of Walter & Bertha Hull Garrison born on July 28, 1922 in Andrews, IN. She was part of a family with seven brothers and sisters.Esther had five daughters, Barbara Holman of Delaware, OH, Jill Stevens of Genoa, Jan Holman of Atlanta, GA, Joyce Holman deceased Debra Aquero of Atlanta, GA. Esther also had seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Esther had worked as a telephone operator and factory worker in her earlier years, and later as a bookkeeper/accountant for Bargain City in Toledo, OH. She was a member of the Mothers of Twins Club in Toledo and enjoyed sewing. She sewed three Pioneer dresses for the Perrysburg Bicentennial parade.Esther was married to Daniel Holman, of Pennelwood Drive for 13 years until his death then for 42 years to Robert Mock until his death. They shared the love of the open road together.There will be no visitation and services will be conducted at a later date.
