Esther M. Dugan

Esther M. Dugan, 64, of Oak Harbor, died Friday, June 12, 2015, at St. Vincent-Mercy Hospital, Toledo. She was born on January 28, 1951, in Lewis County, Kentucky, to Mart and Laura (Stone) Dugan. Esther graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1970. She worked as a line cook for the Holiday Inn, Fremont, for 30 years. Esther was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and collected President John F. Kennedy memorabilia. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and a very generous and giving person. Esther is survived by her sisters, Stella Galliher of Oak Harbor, Sarah Hamilton of Genoa, and Brenda Diefenbach of Lexington, KY, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Lulla Caseman, Christine Gilbert, Linda Lepiarz, and Rocky Dugan, and special friend. Mary Ann Baker. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, with visitation one hour prior from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the graveside. Memorial contributions for Esther may be given in care of the family. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, has assisted the family with arrangements.
