Estella Ann Tristan

Estella Ann Tristan, 57, of Toledo, died Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Estella was born October 7, 1959, in Oregon, Ohio, to Antonia (Diaz) and Efrain C. Tristan, Sr. On April 1, 2014, in Toledo she married Roy W. Peters and he survives. She worked as a dietician at St. Vincents and had also worked at several area childcare facilities. She loved children, especially her grandchildren and loved attending their sporting events. Estella had a big heart and enjoyed helping others. She was a huge Donny Osmond fan and a Pittsburg Steelers fan and was an expert at cooking tamales. In addition to Roy, Estella is survived by her children, Steve (Tanya) Tristan, Scott Tristan, Stacy Tristan, and Ashley (Matthew) Tristan-Oberhaus, all of Toledo; her father, Efrain of Oregon, grandchildren, Seth, Jakob, Damien, Alivia, Jaiden, Dominic and Sienna; and siblings, Norma Paquin of Oregon, Dan (Cheryl) Tristan of Clovis, CA, Sam and George Tristan both of Oregon, and Mario (Debbie) Tristan of Walbridge. Estella was preceded in death by her mother and brothers, Bobby, Efrain, Jr., and Rich Tristan. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, where the funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2017. Burial will follow the service in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. The family has suggested that memorials for Estella be given to Mercy Health Perrysburg Cancer Center, 12623 Eckel Junction Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
