Ervin Tuff Witt

Ervin E. Witt, 85, passed away at Genoa Care Center on Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born on January 26, 1933 to Richard and Cora (Schultz) Witt in Martin, Ohio. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War and worked as an Assembler for Globe Industries. Ervin was also a member of the Rossford Eagles. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Witt and many brothers and sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Ervin (Sandy) Witt, Cindy (Brian Eckert) Brown and Kimberly (Mitch) Ten Eyck; grandchildren, Kelly Poiry, Charles and Logan Ten Eyck, and Jordan Witt; and siblings, Carolyn Starnes, Betty Roberts, Ron (Sharon) Witt, Ginger Lehmann and Barb Sobecki. Friends will be received on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio (419-666-3121) with a VFW service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Allen Township Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to his family.
