Ernie G. Martin

Ernie G. Martin, 67, of LaCarne, OH went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 04, 2007 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born on November 28, 1939 in Fairmount, WV to James and Sina Ledsome Martin. On December 9, 1995 in Florida he married Nellie M. Jones, and she survives. Ernie worked for Taylor Metal in Mansfield, OH for 30 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Faith Family Worship Center, Port Clinton and Moose Lodge #1610, Port Clinton. Ernie enjoyed fishing, playing bass guitar at his church, tinkering around the house, spending time with family, and helping others.Ernie is survived by his loving wife: Nellie; son: Brian Cindy Martin of Butler, OH; daughters: Loretta Denny Artrip of Mansfield, OH and Tammy Rodney Ohl of Ashland, OH; step-daughter: Debbie Brad Westlake of Shelby, OH; step-son: Rick Fenton of LaCarne, OH; brothers: Ralph Carol Martin of Mannington, WV and Chester Carol Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister: Flora Bill Adkins of Mansfield, OH; brother-in-law: James Reese; sister-in-law: Charlotte Martin; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
