ERNEST W. PETERS Ernest Peters, age 70, of Maumee passed away on December 28, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Ernest was born in Toledo on May 24, 1943 to Frederick & Irma (Bell) Peters. He married Judy Meyer in Toledo on September 6, 1969. A US Army Veteran, Ernest started his work career as a local independent pkg. delivery driver for over 35 years and most recently working for Bax Global and as a maintenance man for AMO in Toledo. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his loving wife of 44 years, Judy; sons, Ernie (Pam) Peters; Steve Peters; Kevin Peters; grandchildren, Alyssa; Zachary; Katelyn; Kasey; granddog, “Sammy”; sisters-in-law, Ruby Seifert; Shirley (Matt) Schmidt; Sharon Peters; 5 nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles. Family and friends will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 3-8 pm Friday January 3, 2014.
