Erma Louise Duty

Erma L. Duty, 81, of Millbury, Ohio, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the Genoa Retirement Village, Genoa, Ohio. Erma was born in Richland County, Ohio on September 11, 1928 to Clifford B. & Dorthea Schroder Leonard. She later moved with her family to Knox County Ohio. She married Melvin R. Duty in Bellville, Ohio on February 14, 1954 and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2004.Erma was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and baking. Survivors include her sister and brother in law, Alberna James Taylor of Curtice, OH, nieces, Rita Gaddis, Sharon Tobasko, Gayle Barnhart and nephew, Doug Leonard. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Wanda, and brother Clifford. A funeral service for Erma will be conducted at 2 PM, Sunday, March 7, 2010 in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West St, Genoa, OH. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday, from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Interment will take place in the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. Memorial contributions in Ermas memory may be made to the Allen-Clay Joint Fire Dist. Station #1, Williston, OH or to the donors choice.
