Erica Lynn Francis

Erica Lynn Francis entered this world July 22, 1983.  She left this world on January 15, 2022.

Erica was graduated from Whitmer High School in 2001. She also was a graduate of The University of Toledo with degrees in Communications and Business.  At the high school and university levels, Erica, always a good student, excelled at German, both in the spoken word and in the creation of children's books written in German with full illustrations.

Erica had a strong work ethic which was evidenced in the way she approached any position she accepted. She consistently advanced to positions of management and trust.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ava; fiancé, Steven Brown along with his sons, Russell and Nicholas; parents, Mark and Shelli Jacobs; grandparents, Lee and Angie Monday; siblings, Monica Koprowski (Jeremiah), Samantha, and Joshua; and nephew, Tristan.

Private services for family and friends were held at the Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, with Reverend Atonn Smeltzer officiating.  Harp and violin music was provided by Toledo Symphony Orchestra.  Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery. The memory luncheon took place at Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio.

The family would like to thank the Intensive Care Unit medical staff at Toledo Hospital for their kindness and exceptional care.

Erica will be remembered by family and friends with boundless love and affection.
