Eric D. Rubel

Eric D. Rubel, 62, of Swanton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 11, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Gerald and Virginia (McCone) Rubel. He married Patti (Bowles) Fehrenbach on August 16, 2012 in Toledo, Ohio. Eric retired from Johns Manville in August of 2010 after 39 years of service. Eric enjoyed fishing and in his earlier years, hunting. He also loved to make wine. He was an avid CNN watcher and he loved his dogs. Eric is survived by his mother, Virgina M. Rubel, wife, Patti Rubel; children, Lisa McCue and Dennis Rubel; grandchildren; Kyle, Sydnee, Ava, Cameron and Carissa, one great-grandchild, Lilly; step-children, Kelly Pilaczynski and Charlie Fehrenbach, two step-grandchildren, Cameron and Alyssa, half-brother, Billy (Diane) Naggy and niece Danielle (Ivan) Lucero. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Rubel and brother, Danny Rubel. Friends will be received from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.
