Emma Paula Webb

Webb, Emma Paula Stupka, age 84 of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008. She was born August 19, 1923 in Salem, Ohio to Paul and Mary Stupka. She graduated from Sharon, PA High School and the University of Cincinnati with a degree in nursing. Emma was the beloved wife of J. Hugh Webb. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid bridge player and world traveler. Emma enjoyed gardening, classical music and live opera. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings. She is survived by her husband, Hugh; children, Susan Tim Lawrence and Richard Francoise Webb; grandchildren, Ben Lawrence, Jenny Lawrence, Peter-Michael Webb and Henry Webb; sister, Eleanor Heininger and brother, Milan Franny Stupka; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 11:00am in Christ Presbyterian Church. Interment will be private. The family would like to thank the staff and care givers of the Goerlich Center and of Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving kindness.
