Emilio Lopez

Emilio Lopez, age 75 of Perrysburg passed away Saturday November 12, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 31, 1947 in San Benito, Texas to Antonio and Guadalupe Lopez. An honorably discharged veteran he served in the army in Viet Nam. Emilio was a landscaper with Neville Landscaping for 40 years, retiring in 2009. His passions were Cars, Family Cookouts, Bud Light, Landscaping and watching football. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and San Benito Greyhounds. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and passion for his hometown.

Surviving is his wife San Juanita; children, Christina (Hogie) Lopez, Angel (Brandon) Rowe and Noel Ybarra; grandchildren, Leanna, Alexandria (Zak), Rosa and Emilio Navarro, Angelyica (Kaden) Pegler, Angelo, Noah, Emmit Rowe; 7 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Antonio Lopez, Sr., Maggie Sanchez and Anita Borjas.

Friends will be received at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg on Thursday November 17, 2022 from 2-8 pm where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral Services will begin Friday, November 18, 2022 at 9:45 in the funeral home followed by the funeral mass at 10:30 am in St. Rose Church, Perrysburg. Interment to follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
