Elverna M. Ohm Robel

Elverna M. Ohm Robel, 88 of Port Clinton, passed away Tuesday, February 07, 2012 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. Elverna was born on March 03, 1923 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Bahnsen Ohm. On May 30, 1941 in Marblehead, Oh, she married William J. Robel and he preceded her in death on May 08, 2007. Elverna worked for Nissen Cleaners and the News Herald. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Elverna loved bingo and playing cards. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Son: Dennis Darlene Robel of Port Clinton, OH; Daughters: Diane Don Conte of Lakeside, OH and Gail Rod Zieber of Clyde, OH; 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Elverna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: William Robel Jr., brothers: Franklin, Jake, Clarence, Leonard Donald Ohm. Visitation will be 10:00AM to 12:00PM, Friday, February 10, 2012 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00PM in the funeral home following visitation. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Elverna may be given to Riverview Auxiliary or Stein Hospice.
