Elsie Doris Woggon

Elsie Doris Woggon age 87 of Toledo passed away January 1, 2013 in the Toledo Hospital. She was born November 7, 1925 in Waterville to Harry and Vergie Burditt Blauvelt. She retired from the Purchasing Department at St. Vincent Hospital and later did title work for the former Valiton Motors. She was a loving mother and a wonderful role model who set a lasting example for all her children. Doris had a generous spirit and her children, family and friends were most important to her. She will be missed by all who knew her. The widow of Ernest Woggon, she was also preceded in death by her brother Ernest Blauvelt and sisters Naomi Smith and Myrtle Toth. Surviving are her children Linda Woggon, Gloria Steinke, Janice Paul Bell and Keith Woggon; grandchildren Lisa Symons, Jessica Bell, Chloe Woggon and Pete Fong; and sister Margaret Eleanor Wagoner. Friends may visit the family on Saturday after 10 AM in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey where funeral services will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association 15120 Collections Center Dr. Chicago, Illinois 60693.
