Elsie E. Roberts

Elsie E. Cline Roberts, 87, of Toledo, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, at the home of her daughters. She was born April 5, 1926, in Charleston, SC and was the daughter of James and Liller Bradwell. Elsie was a seamstress for the Jobst Institute for 32 years, retiring in 1991. She was a former member of the Ashland Avenue Baptist Church. Elsie loved to travel and work in her flower garden. She was very devoted to brothers, sisters and her family. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Frederick Doederlein; grandchildren, Tammie Donald Hunt, Tina Rolland Krueger, Todd Christine Doederlein, Troy Jennifer Doederlein, Kerry Doederlein, Steven Doederlein, Kelli Doederlein, and Kiefer Doederlein, great-grandchilden, Tyler Krueger, Brandon Krueger, Kaitlyn Kruger, Garrett Doederlein, and Gillian Doederlein and her brother, Preston Bradwell. Elsie was preceded in death by her brother, James J. Bradwell and her sisters, Lillian Bartlett and Mary McBee. Friends are invited to visit from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Avenue west of Corey Road, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday.
