Ellen Enda Frewen

Ellen Enda Frewen, 82, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Lakes of Monclova, Maumee, OH. She was born November 23, 1931 to Frank and Mai Larkin OLeary in Wexford, Ireland. She married Robert Ron Frewen in 1954 in Dublin and then immigrated to the US. Enda lived in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and North Carolina before going to her final home. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and reading. She was a friendly, engaging and warm soul who loved a conversation and a good cup of tea. She attended St. John XXIII Catholic Community in Perrysburg most recently, but also St. Matthew, in Charlotte, NC, and St. Peter, North Ridgevillle, OH. Enda is survived by daughters, Pat Tom Brainard, Erin Patrick Dunne, and Robyne Doug Bachelor; sons, Raymond Deena, Rory, and Tony Lori Frewen; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Marie Earle; and brother, Lawrence OLeary. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy. Charlotte, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the youth ministry program at St John Neumann Catholic Church, 8451 Idlewild Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227; or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 East River Rd, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
