Ellen Farley

Ellen Farley, age 90, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born in Maumee, Ohio on February 19, 1925 to Charles J. and Margaret M (Terns) Nichter. Ellen was a member of St. John XXIII in Perrysburg, volunteered at St. Lukes, and enjoyed playing cards. Ellen is survived by her children, John (Mary) Farley, Linda (Allan) Powell, Tom (Beth) Farley, Barb (Jim Ferguson) Farley and Bob (Kelly) Farley; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Dorothy Nichter. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Farley Sr.; brothers, Robert, Vincent, Thomas and Charles; sisters, Sister Mary Marjorie, Margaret Rooks and Ann Dullinger. Visitation will be on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 3-8 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537 with a scripture service at 7:30 p.m. Prayers will begin in the funeral home at 9:15 am on Saturday, February 20, 2016 with the funeral mass to follow at 10 am in Saint John XXIII, 24250 Dixie Highway, Perrysburg, Ohio. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Maumee, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St John XXIII New Church Building Fund, 24250 Dixie Highway, Perrysburg, Ohio.
