Ella Gene Shoemaker

Ella G. Tunie Shoemaker age 87 Maumee, OH passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Otterbein of Monclova.  Ella was born in Oregon, OH on September 22, 1927 to Ray and Blanche Collins. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Toledo.  Ella enjoyed knitting, puzzles and most of all, spending time with her family. Surviving is her husband, Glen; daughter, Janine (Rick) Hilbert; grandchildren, Morgan Hilbert, Shianne (Dewayne) Houghtlen, Angel Hilbert and Tammy (Tim) Shelton.  In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by her son, Michael Shoemaker and her siblings. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
