Elizabeth L. Betty Shadler

Elizabeth “Betty” L. Shadler, 94, of Swanton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born on January 17, 1922 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania to Leo and Veronica Shadler. Betty worked for over 30 years for Latronics Corporation, retiring in 1984. She was a devote Catholic and attended St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Swanton for many years. Betty was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed Wheel of Fortune. Betty is survived by her loving caregivers, Thomas E. (Linda) Shadler, Barbara Angus and Tanja Ringle, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers. Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879). Graveside services and burial will take place on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1299 Donohoe Rd, Latrobe, Pennsylvania15650 .
