Elizabeth “Betty” G. (Holtgrieve) Nesper, 85, of Perrysburg, Ohio died Friday, October 23, 2015. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 30, 1930 to Norman F. and Grace (Gunn) Holtgrieve. Betty graduated from Libbey High School in 1948 and married her sweetheart, Kenneth E. Nesper on August 28, 1948 in Angola, Indiana. Betty was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church in Perrysburg. If you asked Betty what she considered her greatest accomplishment, she would say it was her family. She loved having her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren as part of her everyday life. Her Saturday night “burgers” at the Nesper homestead were legendary! Her way of keeping everyone close; kids and grandkids loved it! She loved a good game of Euchre and burgers is where she made sure everyone of her grandchildren learned how to play. She excelled at knitting and made wonderful gifts for all of her grandchildren. Her charm and grace made everyone she met feel comfortable and welcome. And everyone loved being with her. Her gift to all was her thoughtfulness, kindness and selflessness. She was an excellent cook and famous for her pies and ribbon jello. Her love for camping extended to her family, with an annual Nesper family campout, which is tradition even today. Her presence may no longer be on this earth, but she will remain in our minds, hearts and memories every moment of everyday. Betty is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Nesper; children, Kenneth E. (Christine Matthews) Nesper Jr. of Washington, D.C. , Kathleen (Walter) Celley of Perrysburg, William N.
