ELIZABETH MARGET (BELLA) McCARTHY Elizabeth Marget McCarthy age 86, of Toledo, passed away October 8, 2013, in Lake Park Comfort Care. She was born in Northwood, on June 19, 1927, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Oroszler) Bella. Elizabeth was a local model in the 1950’s before becoming employed with L.O.F. as a Supervisor where she retired in 1980. Elizabeth was a loving 2nd mother to her nieces and nephews. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Richard Palenske; and sister-in-law, Gertrude Bella. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph, Alex, Frank, John, Helen Bratt, Judy Reynolds, and Ann Palenske; and special friend, John McCarthy. Friends will be received on Friday, October 11, 2013, from 2-8pm in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) where services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Promedica Hospice or American Lung Association. The family would like to offer a special thanks to her caregivers at Lake Park Comfort Care and Promedica Hospice.
