ELIZABETH “BETTY” M. (VASS) MARCZAK Elizabeth “Betty” M. Marczak, 91, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born October 14, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio to Michael and Virginia (Pederi) Vass. She married Joseph Marczak in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1996. Betty was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg. She worked at Walden Bookstore and then at Meijer. She enjoyed shopping and baking. Betty loved spending time with her family and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her children; Robert (Paula) Marczak, Jeffery (Deborah) Marczak and Constance Zipperer; grandchildren, Michelle (Michael) Dockins, Elizabeth (Dana) Wall, Megan, David and Gregory Marczak, Ursula and Stephen Zipperer; great-grandchildren, Stella and Everett Dockins. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Rose Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
