Elizabeth L. Creech

Elizabeth L. Creech, 88, of Holland, passed away July 17, 2017 at Heartland of Promedica. She was born December 1, 1928 in Hallsboro, NC to Leo and Victoria (Hickman) Bright. She married Raymond Creech in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1970. She was in retail sales most of her life. She worked at Penny’s, Hudson’s, and Jacobsons. She was outgoing and outspoken and that’s how she will be remembered. She was a member of Sylvania Southern Baptist Church where she was an adult Sunday school teacher and also a member of Holland Free Methodist Church. Elizabeth enjoyed bowling and was a chaplain for the Maumee Elks. She is survived by her children, Debby (Gene) Campbell, Keith (Michelle) Creech, Terry (Julie) Creech and Jeffrey (Megan) Creech; grandchildren, Lori, Lisa, Josh, Christopher, Allison, Melissa, Michael, Rebekah, Ryan and Nathan; thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way. Along with her husband Raymond, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret and brother, Marion. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Neville-Shank Funeral Home, Southwest, 7438 Airport Hwy, Holland, Ohio (419-865-8879), with a service beginning at 12:30 P.M. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or The Toledo Area Humane Society.
